Longines EEF Series Newsroom

The 2024 calendar is confirmed!
February 22, 2024

The Longines EEF Series is back for its fourth edition, offering a summer-long Nations Cup competition and a dazzling final in Warsaw.

Gorla Minore once again kicks things off for the regional qualifiers which will see two new events enter the calendar. Luxembourg host region west in June while Stutteri Ask (DEN) take the region North in May.

The North/West semi-final heads again to beautiful Deauville while South/Central will return to Budapest, after a year out due to hosting an Olympic qualifier in 2021. For the final we are delighted to be back in Warsaw, the home of the Longines EEF Series Final on Sunday 8 September where we will see if Austria can hold their title, or a new nation will challenge.

The Longines EEF Series is focused on the complete development of the sport. Providing opportunities to learn, grow and progress in an inviting and confidence-building environment. To support these aims, riders will have opportunities to win bonuses across the season. Prizes will be awarded for the U25s who jump double clear in regional qualifiers and any rider who can keep a clean sheet at the Final.

The Series is proudly supported by Longines, who has been title sponsor since its inception and whom we thank for their continued partnership to deliver these key events in the international calendar.

To celebrate our horses, the Longines EEF Series Horse of the Year, in association with the Jumping Owners Club, competition will be back! Last year the public voted Lord Mexx (GRE) as their winner and we can’t wait to see which horses will be in the running. Nominations will open after the second semi-final and any horse who has competed in at least two events will be eligible for the award. The winner will be announced in a special prize giving during the Final in Warsaw.

EEF President Theo Ploegmakers commented; “We are extremely excited about the new season and the continued growth of the Longines EEF Series. I am delighted to welcome Luxembourg and Stutter ASK into the calendar and appreciate the continued support all our OCs offer to the Series. Once again I thank Longines and KEP Italia for their continued support of the Series.

Alongside the excellent competition, the Longines EEF Series is making a big step forward in its environmental sustainability and we are incredibly proud to be partnered with Organisers who share our vision for a sustainable sport across the climate, the horses and riders.”
